Casting and Fundraising for the film Aggie Pride
Aggie Pride, an upcoming short film written and directed by Quinton Littlejohn, will revisit the origins of the 1960 Greensboro sit-ins by focusing not on the moment history was made—but on the young people who made it. Currently in pre-production, Aggie Pride is actively casting and fundraising, with plans to film on location in Greensboro, including the A&T campus and surrounding historic sites. Hub4Hope Special Orientation (END MAR 19)

The Pitch at NC A&T (END MAR 21)
North Carolina A&T State University will host The Pitch™, an innovation experience in partnership with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Thursday, March 19, through Saturday, March 21. Events begin at 8am March 19 and 20, and will take place in the Student Center, primarily in the Deese Ballroom, while the final pitch competition on March 21 will be held throughout Frye Hall. Guilford County Summer Job Hiring Session (END MAR 21)
Ahead of a busy summer season, Guilford County Parks will host a hiring event to fill several part-time positions across multiple park locations. On-site interviews will take place Saturday, March 21, from 9am to 12pm, at 201 W. Market St., 3rd Floor, in Greensboro. Black Family Wellness Expo (END MAR 21)

MDA presents Community Dance Showcase (END MAR 22)
Miriam’s Dance Academy will host a Community Dance Showcase, with participation from 15 local dance studios, on Sunday, March 22, starting at 2pm, at the Van Dyke Performance Space, inside the Greensboro Cultural Center, 200 N. Forsyth Creek Week Dam Event (END MAR 24)
As part of the annual Forsyth Creek Week, Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Utilities will offer guests of all ages a tour of their facilities at Salem Lake on Tuesday, March 24, starting at 6pm. Greensboro Community Budget Sessions (Disc. Mar 20)
The City of Greensboro will host a series of Community Budget Sessions in each City Council District in March. The sessions will provide an overview of how the City’s annual budget is developed prior to being adopted. Small Farms Week NC A&T (END MAR 26)
The Cooperative Extension at North Carolina A&T State University will host its 40th annual Small Farms Week March 22-26, with the theme “Deep Roots, Strong Future: 40 Years of Small Farm Impact.” Events will include workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and the naming of the 2026 Small Farmers of the Year, with an emphasis on the crucial role of small-scale producers and their impact on communities. North Carolina A&T will host the 2026 Black Sportswriters Hall of Fame Induction on Saturday, April 11, at the A&T Student Center, 1403 John W. Mitchell Drive, in Greensboro. Winston-Salem Annual Leaf Mulch Giveaway (END APR 18)

Take Me Home
The Greensboro Police Department will be participating in the “Take Me Home” program. “Take Me Home” is a free program that allows family members and legal guardians to upload critical information for individuals with a cognitive impairment or developmental disability in the event that a registered individual encounters law enforcement or is reported missing. TRIAD Goodwill Accepts Food Donations
A lot of people don’t know this, but Triad Goodwill accepts food donations and routes them to local food banks. Non-perishable food items are collected in all 23 Donation Centers located in Guilford, Alamance, Randolph, Rockingham and Caswell counties.
