CAN THE GREASE

During this Holiday Cooking Season, the city of Winston Salem and Forsyth County would like to remind you to Can The Grease, and never pour it down the drain. For a clog free drain and sewer system, pour and scrape grease from pots and pans into a can, store the can in your refrigerator, and when the can is full and the grease is chilled solid, throw it in the garbage. Pour used liquid frying oil into containers than can be capped and then into the garbage as well. For more information, visit cityofWS.org.
